I'm grateful for the sparks of fun in my life that never fail to make me smile.
Like swims in the sunshine, and skinny-dips after dusk. Candy shops that still sell butterscotch drops. Dinner parties that turn into dance parties. Spending a fortune in an old-school bookstore just because it smells like the bookstore of your childhood. And maybe because the owner calls you Bellissima. Cold saki. Finding a penny and giving it away. Just one more tea before you leave...and then never leaving.
And having someone who never wants you to leave.
Just the thought of it all makes me happy. Monday starts looking more like a Thursday when you start it off with a list full of smiles, doesn't it?
